Many of us come to counselling feeling alone, frightened, and ashamed. That’s one of the reasons why it is so important to find a counselor who you can trust in your most fragile moments. My job as a counsellor is to meet individuals in their greatest personal challenges, and to provide a vital, caring space in which they are able to grieve, heal, and grow. Through regular sessions together, I work to help clients better understand and relate to the problems that brought them to counselling, and to discover new paths forward. I believe that healing is not only possible, it is the natural outcome of all sincere efforts to follow our own, individual path. Through doing our own psychological work we often come to discover parts of ourselves that have been overlooked, and uncover new ways to relate to those we love. These discoveries not only come as a relief, but they are also life changing on many levels.
