    Stella’s Circle is a not-for-profit community organization, in St. John’s, NL, with a mission to transform lives through Real Homes, Real Help and Real Work. Programs and services are offered to more than 1000 adults each year who face many barriers to fully participating in their community. These barriers include mental illness, addictions, trauma, poverty, homelessness, criminal justice involvement, and long periods of unemployment.

    Offers a safe place for First Nations individuals to talk and feel heard through an anonymous online chat. Service is provided by trained First Nations Peer Advocates who provide culture-based support on any topic.

    Offers virtual mental health services using telecommunications (video conferencing, online chat, or phone calls). Services include mental health assessments, access to self-guided interactive educational modules, tools, and video conferencing with therapists (if the client is already working with a therapist).

The Lung Association of Nova Scotia – Smoking Cessation

    • Drugs-Alcohol-Gambling Counselling
    Offers confidential and free support to those interested in quitting smoking. Also offers a challenge that encourages participants to quit smoking for 30 days. Successful participants are awarded with a free turkey for Christmas. Challenge typically runs from November to December.
