The Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) Program is an evidence-based therapy that provides goal-focused treatment for individuals with moderate to severe borderline personality disorder. DBT is not a suicide prevention program, but instead focuses on helping clients gain insight into patterns of behaviour and integrate skills to improve their life., , The DBT Program is an intensive and comprehensive treatment that is goal focused and based on treating behaviours according to a target hierarchy, prioritizing safety interfering behaviours followed by therapy interfering behaviours.
