Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is an effective and efficient method of psychological therapy for the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, including Panic Disorder, Social Phobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, OCD and PTSD, in addition for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder. CBT utilizes specific tools and and the teaching of skills to help individuals learn how to control their mood, anxiety, anger, etc...by changing the way they think and behave. CBT has been shown to be as or more effective as medication in the treatment of Anxiety and Depression.
