Services dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by Alzheimer"s disease and other dementias. works closely with other community resources, such as Providence Care outreach teams, the Family Health Team, Community Care for Seniors to make referrals to appropriate resources Provides information and education to persons, family members, caregivers and the general public regardin Alzheimer"s disease and other dementia"s works with neighbouring Societies in presenting public forums, a caregiver retreat and a workshop for persons living with Alzheimer"s disease and other dementias has a wide variety of brochures and information pamphlets, along with a lending library An Education and Support co-ordinator will make home and office visits to discuss a family"s challenges with dementia and help plan for future needs
