The Community Mental Health Services crisis program operates out of the emergency department at Northumberland Hills Hospital and focuses on immediate, emotional distress. A crisis worker is available to assess needs and provide short-term intervention and follow-up care Crisis worker can put the client in touch with other professionals who will deal with all aspects of crisis
