COVID-19 Resources for Congregate Living SettingsA residence in a home-like setting for individuals with schizophrenia and other psychiatric problems or anyone who needs supervision with their medication * 2 level home, 10 bed capacity * 5 male and 5 female residents * room and board and personal needs allowance * male and female occupancy on a separate wing with its own male and female separate washroomThe home provides: 24-hour care by a Personal Support Worker and supervision by a Registered Nurse full service for the residents including three meals and three snacks a daylaundry is done once a week for each resident or when necessarylinens are changed once a week or when necessarystaff assists during medication timefoot care and barber services availablescheduled activities once a weekscheduled shopping and outing tripsarranged ride to appointmentshome fire and safety maintenance checks every dayresidents also participate in the Support Program & special needs program through the Canadian Mental Health Association, STRIDE, Summit Housing and Dr. Dougan Foundation accepts referrals from Summit Housing, Support Housing, Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), hospitals and clinicsinternet access on wifi * a laptop can be borrowed from the office for personal use
