Provides assessment, consultation, treatment and support to patients and families living with a dual diagnosis (people who have a diagnosed developmental disability and are also experiencing a mental health problem such as a serious mental illness, aggression, self-injury).Program staff and a consulting psychiatrist collaborate with mental health and developmental service organizations to support: planning and evaluation of treatment strategies coordination of services referrals to services in the communityServices are available in Grey and Bruce Counties in any location where persons with dual diagnosis reside, such as a private home, group homes, hospitals, nursing homes.Runs a dedicated outpatient psychiatric clinic once a week.
