Program
Directly supports families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through the services of clinical professionals.The Peterborough Chapter provides: advocacy to other community services including within the school system regularly organized social skills classes, special events, fundraisers and other outreach programs to support ASD families in the Peterborough Area - visit website for events calendarGoverned by the Chapter Leadership Council (CLC) who oversee operations, including monthly meetings, managing finances, establishing committees and reporting to Autism Ontario.Parent/Caregiver Support Group - provides a safe and supportive environment for parents and caregivers of individuals with Autism to share their successes and challenges, ask questions and connect with other parents and caregivers. Group is facilitated by Autism Ontario"s Family Support Coordinator in partnership with SnowFlake Therapy Services.Adult Social Group - provides supported social opportunities and activities for adults who have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
