COVID-19 ResponseOutpatient Mental Health Services have returned to in-person therapy. They will continue to offer telephone therapy where requested. PPE is required for in-person appointments. Group therapy remains virtual.Regular ServiceOutpatient Mental Health provides mental health care for individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental illness.Provides out patient psychiatric consultation with diagnosis of acute mood or thought disorder, treatment of brain disease, and neuro-degenerative disease (dementia) with coordinated case management.Referral and support of the physician is indicated for this patient population due to the presence of medical illnesses and other complex needs of the individual.The clinic provides: connections with community services, support and education to caregivers providing and monitoring care for someone in their charge specializations include dementia intensive case management to solve problems or develop skills needed for long term psychiatric support required to sustain community function homelessness program for clinic patients who meet eligibility requirements of illness, risk and need support and education on a variety of mental health topics psychiatric consultation for diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendation with physician referral Mental Health Crisis Services are available 8 am-8 pm 7 days a week at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Emergency Department. Please present to the emergency department. Mental Health Response Unit is a mobile crisis service working in partnership with the OPP to provide service in the community Monday to Thursday 8 am-6 pm. Call the OPP dispatch number at 310-1122 . All appointments and services are arranged through the Collingwood office.
