Operates a mutual support group for injured workers and their familiesProvides the following Injured Worker Outreach Services (IWOS): Offers advice and assistance on how to handle injured worker claims Provides information about the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) policies and procedures Provides peer support and counselling Advises workers about other agencies that offer help to injured workers Participates in law reform to improve the system Provides public education about the needs and problems of injured workers and workers compensation issuesAlso coordinates meetings in Ear Falls upon request
