I am a Registered Social Work Practitioner, with a Masters Degree of Social Work. I have provided counselling and support to clients through life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, addictions and various other mental health concerns. Over the last several years I have honed my Mindfulness Counselling practice while contracting in a prominent Winnipeg psychotherapy clinic. I have encountered a broad spectrum of personality types in my practice and worked with clients from a variety of cultures, spiritual beliefs and backgrounds. Along with my formal training, I believe that this wide range of experience has helped prepare me to meet each client where they are and to work alongside them on their own unique journey. My practice is client-centred, strengths-based and solution-focussed. This means I am committed to empowering you – the client – to be actively involved in your therapeutic process. Special Services During Pandemics (e.g. COVID/Corona), Disasters and Related Emergencies All services offered are available in Spanish or English as well as virtually via secured and licensed TeleHealth platforms. Services are usual covered by most health plans however I do also offer sliding scale rates if necessary.
