Support Groups

Provides support to pregnant women and teens who are at risk of having low birth weight babies. Program includes nutritional and health counselling, referrals to other community services, peer support, and weekly lunch, drop-ins, classes, and social activities. Provides follow-up support for a year after delivery. Serves Watson Lake. Funded by Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) as a Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP).
