Functions as a short-term inpatient assessment, treatment and rehabilitation program for adults with a moderate to profound developmental disability and mental health concern (dual diagnosis) Offers a short-term stay, up to 18 months Focus is to assist individuals to assert themselves in their own care planning, to improve their quality of life and wellness, to decrease behavioral issues, teach new skills and to improve relationships Provides care plans that are based on an individuals interest and ability level
