COVID19 Service Change: Offered virtually as well as on site with smaller groups of clients. To help adjust for the reduced group size, additional days of service have been introduced to provide more service availability. Continue to follow up with weekly check-in calls for clients who have chosen not to return due to COVID-19 to ensure their well-being. For more information about services and programs, see COVID-19 & ONE CARE HERE Social, recreational and therapeutic activities to support older adults in a group setting for part of the day that helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care. Designed to support and engage seniors who may have difficulty accessing other programs in the community due to physical frailty, disability or chronic illness. Assistance with activities of daily living provided. Activities include morning discussion and coffee, mental aerobic activity, daily exercise program full course noon meal, physical activities (such as bowling, bocce ball) and large and small group activities (such as dominoes, crafts, bingo, or musical entertainment). All games and activities are adapted so every participant is successful. Transportation is available and can be arranged if needed. Note: Tue and Thu in Clinton are stroke specific days and clients throughout Huron County may be eligible to attend.
