Meets the needs of the grieving families and friends of patients referred to palliative care. Offers a number of resources for friends and family members who have lost a loved one or are caring for a person with a life threatening illness including: One-on-one counselling for grief and loss Grief and bereavement groups Thoughtful letters to families of the deceased Opportunities for volunteering Memorial services Phone support Home visits Pamphlets Education Translation is available upon request. Please note that this program is for the grieving families and friends of patients referred to palliative care. They cannot provide grief services for people outside of palliative care.
