A community suicide prevention project led by the Mental Health Commission of Canada and is managed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority, in consultation with the Ministry of Health. Focused on 5 key areas or ‘pillars’: specialized supports, training and networks, public awareness campaigns, means restriction, and research. Provides support, information, training, and referrals to other supports. Guided by a local advisory committee, made up of local stakeholders, service providers, and persons with lived experience with having made a suicide attempt or of having experienced a grief and loss due to suicide.
