Centre for Innovation in Peer Support at Support House supports are offered in a virtual setting in direct response to physical distancing measures implemented to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The Centre’s virtual services and programs include: Online Peer-led Support Groups: Social Connections – no registration required, open to anyone 16+ in Ontario. These groups are offering opportunities to connect socially over a virtual platform. Topics include: Lit Grit, Creative Writing, The Sharing Circle and The Games Room. Self-Help Drop-In – require a brief pre-registration for participation, open to anyone 16+ in Ontario. Explore in a safe, judgement free environment and develop wellness tools. Groups include: Well BEing, Navigating Stress & Anxiety We Matter, and Daily Wellness Planning. Up to date calendar of groups is available on our website. Virtual System/Partner Offerings: On-line Communities of Practice for Peer Support Workers offered weekly, and for Peer Support Supervisors, monthly. Open across province. Guidelines, manuals & toolkits, open to province. Training for peer positions, supervisors, teams and organizations. Peer Professional Development Webinar Series. Support for peer program implementation. Quality improvement & evaluation support. Infrastructure & governance. Influencing policy & decision makers.
