Drugs-Alcohol-Gambling Counselling

Offers a safe outdoor space for women to gather, use safely, access harm reduction supplies, personal hygiene products and snacks. Also provides access to supportive services including counselling, one-to-one emotional support, legal advocacy, connections to communtiy services and assistance securing housing and accessing treatment. Also provides employment opportunities for 8-12 women from the community.

Kathryn specializes in providing counselling to children, youth, adults, families and couples. In the clinic clients will receive culturally safe, evidenced-based, person-centred services. Treatment plans are adapted to everyone who comes through the door. While Kathryn specializes in a number of areas, she is able to support individuals from all walks of life with any number of issues. Kathryn comes from a diverse clinical background and has experience as a clinical supervisor, direct practice clinician, and instructor at the Post Secondary level. Special Services During Pandemics (e.g. COVID/Corona), Disasters and Related Emergencies Virtual services are available for clients upon request. In person services are conducted socially distance and with masks.

Offers an intensive combination of one week and four week addictions treatment programs that utilize a harm reduction approach, by meeting individuals where they are at in their readiness for change. Treatment services include but are not limited to; individual counseling, process group therapy, psycho-education - videos, speakers, lectures, relapse prevention group, anger management and critical thinking group, family issues group, experiential leadership, life skills, recreation opportunities, written assignments, individual treatment goals and action steps, 12 step meetings, continuing care planning, spirituality and/or cultural teachings and self assessments.
