Provides an opportunity for clients (newcomers) to discuss their feelings and develop better ways of coping with stress, relationship problems, anxiety, depression, adjusting to a new culture, etc. Interpretation, child care and transportation services are available if needed. Counselling – one-on-one sessions Counselling for Adolescents and the Parents of Adolescents – works specifically with youth and issues related to youth Parenting Support – newcomer parents and their children can access family counselling Landing and Settling Group Therapy – help newcomers develop strategies for dealing with a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, family violence, and anger management.
