Youth Addictions
Harbourside Family Counseling Centre is a collective of trained professionals who provide evidence-based assessment, consultation and treatment to people of all ages who seek greater happiness and fulfillment in their lives. We use science-based approaches and techniques applied to the goals of positive emotion, mindfulness and community connection, which is one of the highest predictors of happiness and well-being.
Our team provides a welcoming, safe environment to those who need immediate solutions and relief, whether in our offices near Granville Island, or, increasingly, via phone or video conferencing from the privacy and comfort of your home. Our team has experience treating adults, children, teens, couples and those with developmental disabilities, and we will match you with the counsellor best equipped to provide you with specialized care. We use a positive, outcome-based approach so that you can begin your path to greater happiness, balance and wellbeing in your family and relationships now.
Many people believe that counselling isn’t for them because what they are experiencing is not significant enough. In fact, you do not need to be completely debilitated by your issue to benefit from counselling. Whether your concerns are big or small, counselling can often be helpful and can also prevent unnecessary suffering that may result from waiting until things get worse. We look forward to helping you take that first step.
