Program designed for people with a recent diagnosis of early-stage dementia, and their care partner, family member, or friend. Provides participants with evidence-based education in a supportive environment. Also provides an opportunity for people with dementia and care partners to receive separate, facilitated peer support.

Youth Mental Health
Offers various shelter and housing services which include:
* Two Community Residential Facilities (halfway houses) to help men and women change from prison living to community living
* Two facilities for men and women experiencing homelessness
* Supportive housing program for men and women moving from shelter living to community living
* Community Trustee program for individuals in the community.
We provide a home for people who need somewhere to stay. We offer care to people who can find it nowhere else. We support people who can use a helping hand.

A community clinic that offers system navigation, advocacy, crisis intervention/management, outreach, and case management services.
Arrangements can be made to meet in the community for clients unable to travel. Clinic staff are unable to meet people in their homes at this time.
A housing support worker provides support for those who are experiencing housing precarity (at risk of losing housing). They offer services to keep people safely housed and assist in housing eviction prevention work. They are not able to do housing searches. Please note that they cannot support emergency housing (i.e., immediate eviction) needs.
Offers the services of occupational and recreational therapy students (part of the year) and clinical psychology students.
Offers the services of the clinic pharmacist, who is available by appointment to answer medication or health related questions or to meet with clients to review their medications.
Please note that they do not offer prescription filling services or keep medications on site at the clinic.

• COVID-19 UPDATE: Group normally meets at the Bethune Building, Victoria General Hospital. Due to COVID restrictions, meetings may be held via ZOOM, or in-person at alternate location, or in hybrid format. Contact president@ostomyhalifax.ca for updates and an electronic invitation to a ZOOM meeting.
Provides an opportunity for individuals who have had or will have ostomy surgery to meet, provide support and share information. Meetings can include information sessions and discussion as well as a social time to chat with others who have had similar experiences.
