Single session therapy available for clients of all ages 7 days per week by appointment only. Sessions are offered in-person at South Calgary Health Centre (SCHC)., , A single session of therapy can support individuals needing support with a particular concern or issue. Therapists may consult with one another to provide a collaborative approach. This service utilizes a teaching and consultative model and may have other therapists observing the session. This program provides respiratory education for patients who have asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease (chronic bronchitis, emphysema), chronic cough, smokers at risk, smoking cessation /tobacco reduction., , Provides comprehensive respiratory education for patients with COPD, asthma, chronic cough or smokers at risk. The session is one to one either by phone or Zoom and will take 45 minutes to 60 minutes to complete with a Certified Respiratory Educator. This service provides patients with complex developmental disabilities comprehensive medication support., , This service provides psychopharmacology consultation for children with complex developmental profiles, who have not had success with standard treatments in the community.The psychopharmacology clinic is a consultative clinic and is unable to take over care of patients from pediatricians. The goal is to support pediatricians in managing these patients in the community, through telephone consultation, medication review, initiation of new medication, and short-term follow up.Once the medication regime addressing the referral behaviour has been established, patients will be transferred back to their community pediatrician or primary developmental pediatrician for ongoing follow-up and medication management., , Key Provider: doctors, nurses, social workers
