It also deals with concerns about children and youth experiencing or at risk of developing significant emotional distress, dysfunction, or disability related to a mental disorder, stress and anxiety, or problems in daily living.

Young offender assessment/treatment
Parenting education groups
Suicide prevention program
Violence Threat Risk Assessments (VTRA)

Provides nursing assessments and counselling, establishes and implements treatment plans for individuals, and provides education support, and advocacy. A community partnership model is used that may include third party arrangements with independent community services in treatment plans.

Offers support and counselling services to children (and their families) who experience challenges that interfere with the child’s ability to learn and experience school in a positive manner. Support provided includes counselling, group programming, referrals, and advocacy. Common areas of difficulty may include:
bullying
grief
coping with parents’ separation/divorce
exposure to domestic violence.
Offered in partnership with the Light of Christ School Division and the Catholic Community.

Individual, family and group outpatient counselling and education
180 Alcohol and Drug Diversion Program for youth who are ticketed by the RCMP for minor consumption/possession of alcohol and/or possession of small amounts of controlled substances in lieu of paying the fine
Ongoing assessment and treatment planning
Referral to in-patient facilities
Client and caregiver education and information
Primary prevention through presentations to schools and community groups, information groups, and promotion of healthy living
Services can also be provided through satellite clinics upon request.
