Provides prevention, intervention and aftercare and follow-up services to individuals experiencing alcohol and drug challenges. Prevention stratergies include programs that offer culturally appopriate education and create awareness about addictions and addiction-free lifestyles. Intervention supports include assessments and referrals, short-term counselling in crisis situations and out-patient one-on-one and group counselling. Aftercare and follow-up services include support in developing return to home/ community plans and on-going client care. Offers extended care services to First Nations youth and young adults who are aging out of foster care.
