Provides expecting parents and parents of infants and preschoolers with enhanced parenting resources; promotes positive parenting; supports and strengthens families with young children; and works to meet the needs of teens and young mothers.
Parent education programs available:
Baby and Me
A seven session postnatal drop-in parenting program covering topics relevant to the early stages of parenting an infant.
Rhyme Time
An interactive program which provides an opportunity to nurture togetherness through a shared repertoire of rhymes, songs, and stories between a parent and their children aged newborn to three years.
Parent Support Groups
A forum for parents to come together to share advice, information and resources that enable them to strengthen their parenting skills.
Nobody’s Perfect
A program for parents with children 0-5 years of age who lack resources they need to raise healthy, happy, well adjusted children. The program recognizes the importance of enabling and empowering parents to act on their own behalf and that of their children.
Systematic Training for Effective Parenting
This is a lesson based parent education program for parents with children aged 0-5 years which uses a step by step approach to building parenting skills.
1-2-3-4 Parents!
A video based parenting program that teaches the fundamental attitudes and skills necessary for parenting young children aged 1-4 years.
Information and Outreach Support
Working with parents wanting specific information or support.

Videos, books and articles on parenting young children.

Provides therapeutic services for individuals, couples and families experiencing problems such as: depression, thoughts of suicide, anxiety, or any emotional problem which interferes with one’s ability to function in a mentally healthy manner. Services are also offered to survivors of abuse, individuals who are violent with their partners and sex offenders.
