Provides support that addresses topics including understanding and developing coping strategies; cravings and urges; making changes to behaviour; building supports; identifying self-care strategies; managing stress, and developing strategies to prevent relapse.

Drugs-Alcohol-Gambling Counselling
Offers stop smoking services for individuals 19 years of age or older who want to cut back and/or stop their tobacco use. Most participants will attend an 8-week stop smoking structured group that brings participants together in a supportive environment to explore topics related to making changes to tobacco use, including: Understanding and developing coping strategies to manage triggers Cravings and urges to use tobacco Making changes to patterns of behaviour Managing stress without tobacco use As part of this program, nicotine replacement therapy (NRT patch, gum or lozenge - as determined by the participant"s pharmacist) is provided for the duration of treatment (up to a maximum of 16 weeks).
