12-step support group for people in recovery from compulsive eating behaviours such as overeating, undereating, bingeing, and/or purging. Does not promote any particular diet, weight loss, weight gain, or weight maintenance; focus in on physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Meetings are held at 7 pm Tuesdays.

Granger Havenoffers four rooms for persons with disabilities. Services include skill building, assistance with appointments, and community engagement. Also offers supports for individuals transitioning to independent living. TheMental Health Treatment Home (6Plex)is a residential treatment home for adults with mental illness to participate in psycho/social development while managing their mental illness. Also offers one respite home. Maximum length of stay is two years. Referral required through the Mental Wellness and Substance Use Psychiatric Outreach Program.Max"s Placeprovides harm reduction services from a housing first approach to three men with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) who are active in their addictions and connected to the justice system. Referral required through the Adult Disabilities Services Branch of Social Services.

Abstinence based self-help support group for people who are recovering from drug addiction. Based on the 12-step principles of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Meets 7 pm to 8:30 pm Wednesdays and Sundays at the BYTE office (404A Ogilvie Street). Leave a name and number and a contact will call you with more information.

Provides support to pregnant women and teens who are at risk of having low birth weight babies. Program includes nutritional and health counselling, referrals to other community services, peer support, and weekly lunch, drop-ins, classes, and social activities. Serves Whitehorse. Funded by Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) as a Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP).
Hospice Yukon Society

Dedicated to supporting Yukoners through grief and end-of-life. Provides programs and services to help clients better understand the profound journey of living, dying and grieving, and to help them better support themselves and others. Offers support to dying and grieving clients at the Continuing Care Facilities in Whitehorse, the Whitehorse General Hospital, in private homes, and in the agency"s downtown office space. Also offers online services and programming for those living in rural Yukon communities. Services are offered free of charge, and include counselling,Healing Touch(energy therapy that supports physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health for those who are dying, their caregivers, and for those who are grieving), grief groups, public education workshops, vigil services (sitting with someone at end of life),Feelie Hearts(small stuffed hearts that can be tucked into a pocket or purse to bring comfort and a tangible reminder to hold our heart tenderly), and a lending library. Office hours are 11:30 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday. Non-profit organization.
