Provides primary health care, emergency care, and acute care services to assess and treat medical conditions. Community health programs include prenatal and postnatal care, school health, health education and promotion, immunization clinics, and communicable disease testing (sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV). Nurse practitioner is on call 24 hours for emergencies and serious illness only. Serves Teslin. Centre hours are 8:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 5 pm Monday to Friday; on call at other times for emergencies.

Support Groups
Provides support to pregnant women and teens who are at risk of having low birth weight babies. Program includes nutritional and health counselling, referrals to other community services, peer support, and weekly lunch, drop-ins, classes, and social activities. Provides follow-up support for a year after delivery. Serves Watson Lake. Funded by Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) as a Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP).

Offers confidential, professional counselling services to Teslin Tlingit citizens. Counselling covers areas including relationships, workplace communication, depression, addictions, grief, loss, and play-based therapy for children. Specialized counselling in other areas or psychological assessments can be arranged as requested.
