The conversation around cannabis use has changed significantly over the past decade. Parents and teens receive conflicting messages about the potential hazards and benefits of using this drug. In this talk, Rand will discuss the science and facts about cannabis and its impact on the developing teen brain. At the end of the seminar, participants will be given an opportunity to ask Rand questions and share any concerns they have about this topic.
Rand Teed has many years of experience working directly with adolescents. In addition to providing counselling to individual teens, he is also the developer of the “Drug Class” program in Saskatchewan which is offered in high schools throughout Regina. Mr. Teed also hosts the Drug Class TV Series which won a Gemini award in 2008 for “Best Direction in a Youth Series”.
