Offers a free, confidential telephone counselling service for smokers and spit tobacco users. It is a toll-free telephone tobacco cessation counselling, support, and information for all Albertans. Calls are answered by a trained cessation counsellor who can help individuals develop a quit plan, and offer information and support, or refer the individual to services in their community.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Starting in September 2020, Alberta Health Services (AHS) will be offering the NEW Virtual version of QuitCore using the secure encrypted Zoom platform as the standard version of the group. QuitCore is a free group support program that provides Albertans with the tools and skills they need to quit using tobacco. The program consists of six 90-minute sessions over a period of up to nine weeks at various locations around the province.
