Mental Health Counselling
Offers a peer support program for anyone dealing with divorce, separation, death, or any family transition that impacts and individual"s ability to cope. Two programs are offered for children and youth: Rainbows, and Spectrum.Rainbows offers elementary- and middle school-aged children (ages 5-14) the opportunity to speak about their feelings and share their grief in a safe environment in small group settings. The groups are led by trained facilitators utilizing age-appropriate materials.Spectrum offers youth and teenagers (ages 14-18) the ability to share feelings and thoughts about their loss with others their own age who are experiencing similar life changing events.
