Provides support to ensure that students complete high school and are well equipped to pursue post-secondary education and/or meaningful employment. Support includes: Academic Support: Tutoring in core subjects, 4 nights a week Leadership: Group mentoring for grades 9 and 10, specialty and career mentoring for grades 11 and 12 Financial Support: Immediate financial support such as free bus tickets and a bursaries based on attendance and scholarships for post-secondary education Advocacy: Student-Parent Support Workers help connect teens, parents, school administration, teachers and community agencies

counselling

Offers a mental health walk-in clinic or call-in counselling support service for individuals experiencing stress related to a variety of issues. They can help with grief, relationship issues, anxiety, and situational crisis. Please note: Clinic is not for emergency situations and they do not offer medication reviews, diagnosis, or referrals to formal mental health services

Peer mentors encourage self-care, self-compassion and help build hope for recovery. Participants are matched with a trained peer supporter based on compatibility and experiences, and together the pair decide when and how to meet. Most people choose to connect over video or phone call, but meeting in person is also an option.

Offers peer support to individuals with kidney disease and their family members. Individuals are paired with trained volunteers who have first-hand experience coping with kidney disease.

Drugs-Alcohol-Gambling Counselling

Offers a variety of group counselling (by professionals or peers), support services and recreational groups to people dealing with addictions or mental health concerns.

Offers individual and group abuse and general counselling services. Also provides case management services.

Offers group abuse and general counselling to men and their families and partners. Provides support with healing from trauma, neglect, abandonment, and other forms of abuse and poverty, racism, homophobia, and other forms of marginalization.

Mental Health Counselling

Offers free individual and family therapy for young people and their families. The topics of focus can include, but are not limited to, difficult family relationships, grief and loss, peer conflict and bullying, challenges at school, coping with emotions, low self-esteem, histories of abuse, and discrimination and poverty.
