Youth Addictions
Kind Therapy Ottawa is a psychotherapy service in Orleans, Ottawa. I am available to provide service to clients age 14 and up. I offer counselling in English and Spanish.
Here are the types of concerns I specialize in:
o Self-Esteem: includes people with low self worth or perfectionism, and those who have lost their identity in their relationships, jobs, roles, or simply feel lost in general.
o Emotional Regulation: includes individuals who feel overly emotional, depressed, overwhelmed, numb, or disconnected, and are unable to cope effectively with everyday challenges.
o LGBTQQIP2SA folks: includes anyone struggling with identity crisis, transgender concerns, relationship issues, coming out, transitioning, fertility procedure, infertility concerns, sexuality or gender.
o Parental Support: includes parents struggling with understanding and accepting their children’s new sexual or gender identity. As well as parents who are concerned about their children’s mental health.
I work with clients to help them rebuilt their identity, re-discover their self worth, and regain control over their lives while remaining kind towards themselves
I am a registered psychotherapist with 6 years of experience. Clients can self-refer by emailing or calling Kind Therapy Ottawa. A psychologist supervises my practice; therefore my services are covered by most extended health plans.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. More information can be found on my website kindtherapyottawa.com.
