Addiction
I am a Registered Social Work Practitioner, with a Masters Degree of Social Work.
I have provided counselling and support to clients through life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, addictions and various other mental health concerns. Over the last several years I have honed my Mindfulness Counselling practice while contracting in a prominent Winnipeg psychotherapy clinic.
I have encountered a broad spectrum of personality types in my practice and worked with clients from a variety of cultures, spiritual beliefs and backgrounds. Along with my formal training, I believe that this wide range of experience has helped prepare me to meet each client where they are and to work alongside them on their own unique journey.
My practice is client-centred, strengths-based and solution-focussed. This means I am committed to empowering you – the client – to be actively involved in your therapeutic process.

Macdonald Youth Services
Family Navigator Program
Our professional navigators guide families through the numerous therapeutic services available to youth aged 13–24 in the province of Manitoba. Collaborating with service providers in the youth and adult systems, Family Navigators locate resources that match identified needs, facilitate connections to these resources as efficiently as possible and support families along the way.
Families can access these services by calling (toll free) or emailing our clinically trained Family Navigators who will respond to requests for assistance within two business days. The initial contact with parents, caregivers or youth will take place over the phone; however, to gain full understanding of the family’s needs, a face-to-face meeting may be scheduled.
Our Family Navigator Program recognizes and respects that each family’s experiences and needs are unique and therefore offers support and services based on an individualized assessment. Using a strengths-based approach, needs and strengths are identified and considered when seeking out appropriate therapeutic services for the family.
Once the appropriate resource has been identified, Family Navigators facilitate the connection between the families and the service provider and support the family as required. A follow up with the family will occur within one week to ensure that the identified resource matched the family’s needs. A three-month follow up will also occur to further assess the helpfulness of the services provided.
