The Pediatric Advanced Care Team has compiled free resource listings which may be of assistance to grieving families. The resource lists provide information about grief support resources, including grief counsellors and support groups, for parents, children and teenagers.
The IWK Spiritual Care Department offers a bereavement support group for parents who have experienced a pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or the death of a newborn baby.

The women"s abuse recovery group focuses on providing support to women who are either currently in or have been in an abusive relationship. The abuse intervention groups focus on providing support to men and women who want to learn how to respond to others when they have been harmed and when they harm others.

Drugs-Alcohol-Gambling Counselling
Program that is available in communities across the province to prevent the transmission of Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV that is spread by sharing equipment to inject drugs. The program is a harm reduction initiative and offers services such as: needle exchange with safe needle disposal, immunization counseling and immunization, vein/wound care, sexual health counseling, health teaching to support optimal health, referrals to other care providers, Naloxone kits for people who are at risk of opioid related overdoses, and detox information.
