Adult Addictions
Healthy Minds Cooperative (HMC) is Canada"s only mental health cooperative. HMC provides a variety of peer-based services to Nova Scotians with lived experience of mental health and addiction issues -- and to their families -- through community navigation, wellness and recovery workshops and peer support groups. HMC also provides significant and meaningful input into the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of mental health services in Nova Scotia through "Citizen Engagement" opportunities.

Youth Addictions
Herring Cove Apartments an affordable, supportive living environment dedicated to individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness and who have a long history of alcohol dependency. Housing is provided in combination with 24 hour on site support staff, and is offered utilizing low barrier, harm reduction strategies. Guided by Housing First principles, Herring Cove Apartments has the capacity to house twelve adults aged nineteen and older of any gender.

Drugs-Alcohol-Gambling Counselling
Offers support and education to individuals who want to reduce their smoking or vaping use. Support includes: a conversation with a health care provider about your smoking/vaping history; a discussion that includes reviewing strategies and medications that can help you be successful in your quit attempt; and developing a plan for quitting smoking/vaping and remaining smoke/vape free.

Mental Health Counselling
Offers grief support services to anyone who has suffered a loss, regardless of any previous involvement with hospice or palliative care. Mental Health Counselling
Offers regular bereavement support drop-in groups for adults experiencing the death of a loved one and looking for a safe, supportive environment in which to explore their grief. Trained facilitators guide discussion and provide information about loss and grief. Participants can join in the discussion or just listen.
