Crisis Intervention
The acute inpatient team supports children and youth whose mental health and addictions needs are best met in an acute care setting. Children and youth served by Acute Inpatient services need either: intense, short-term support to address or resolve a mental health or addictions crisis; OR, longer-term support so that the child or youth, family/caregivers and the Acute Inpatient care team can learn more about the mental health or addictions difficulty and determine the best treatment options.

Youth Addictions
We are a group of caring practitioners providing evidence-based counselling & assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. We draw from both conventional (cognitive-behavioural, solutions focused, emotion focused, EMDR) and contemplative (mindfulness, acceptance, spiritual) origins. Adult Addictions
I offer a mix of psychotherapy and creative arts therapy to individuals experiencing post-trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am based in Halifax, NS. I have training as a music therapist, in Narrative Therapy, and in trauma counseling.

A membership-based drop-in centre for youth ages 16 to 29 who have lived mental health experience. Based on peer support, members can meet friends who have gone through similar experiences and support each other as they find wellness.
Programming includes art, meals, education and employment support, camping, music and more.

Access to support for education, employment or housing services
Assistance setting and reaching goals
Physical activities such as yoga or walking group
