Consumer/survivor membership-run mutual support organization. PSO staff, volunteers and members offer peer support, telephone information and referrals, and inform and educate the community about the needs of consumer/survivors. The members drop in allows the opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones, browse the mental health library, community boards, support each other and build upon skills. In addition the PSO produces a Community Resource Guide with information about housing, emergency shelters, food, clothing, health, addiction and information lines, support groups and drop-ins in the City of Ottawa.
