Youth Addictions
Renascent helps families reclaim their lives from alcoholism and drug addiction. Renascent facilitates treatment using the 12 steps to help people achieve the goal of abstinence and live a better life in recovery. For alcoholics and drug addicts (age 16 and up), Renascent offers a 21-day gender-specific residential treatment program followed by a 15-week outpatient relapse prevention program (in-class or telephone). Family members don’t have to have someone in treatment at Renascent to access family care programs (in-class and telephone) for adults, parents and children (age 7-11). Renascent also supports workplaces with specialized services to help addicted employees: compliance reporting, safety-sensitive program, abstinence monitoring and driver’s licence re-instatement program. Admission in one business day is possible with 72 hours of sobriety. Renascent has four treatment centres in the Greater Toronto Area – two men’s centres, one women’s centre and one centre for families.

Community Mental Health Centers
A case resolution mechanism designed to provide recommendations and referrals for families, children and youth up to the age of 18. Provides a single point of access to Ministry funded residential services, coordinated access to other children and youth with complex needs and who are experiencing difficulties gaining access to support and services in the community.

Support Groups
Organization made up of ostomates and their supporters volunteer-run support, education, advocacy and collaboration semi-annual meetings of ostomates and their families works with partners to schedule clinics run by Nurses Specializing in Wounds, Ostomies and Continence (NSWOC) telephone support available to answer questions, provide support and refer patients to ostomate services

Youth Addictions
This service is for youth 11-18 years experiencing significant social, emotional and behavioural problems, who require an intensive 24 hour therapeutic setting in a rural setting. The residential placement is considered after other community based interventions have been attempted and families are expected to be involved in ongoing service. Services Include: Residential treatment in one of two 24-hour staffed 6-bed homes, Individual and family counselling, Group counselling, Specialized classrooms staffed by teachers and mental health workers, Recreational activities, Psychiatric and psychological consultation, Service coordination with other agencies, Support after discharge.
