Assessment and support is provided to dually diagnosed individuals (individuals with a mental illness and a diagnosis of developmental delay), and with their families and other service providers to develop crisis prevention plans, facilitate community integration and coordinate developmental and mental health services.

Crisis lines & Support Groups

Provides services to people in the Niagara Region who are in crisis and have a mental health concern. Offers immediate telephone counselling and on-site crisis outreach intervention as needed. The program is a partnership between Canadian Mental Health Association Niagara Branch, Distress Centre Niagara, Alzheimer"s Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton and Niagara Regional Police Service.

Youth Addictions

CMHA provides services to adults with a diagnosis of a serious mental illness or presence of mental health symptoms within the Sudbury – Manitoulin Districts. We provide services through a psychosocial approach by assessing and developing readiness for change in order to help individuals regain a meaningful role in their community.
