Youth Mental Health
Non-profit association providing recognition and practical supports to friends and family giving care. Do you care for a family member or friend at home? Do you visit a friend or family member in a nursing home
regularly? Are you the parent of a child with mental or physical challenges? Do you phone a friend or family member regularly to check on them, make sure they take their meds or to see how they are each day? If you answered YES to any of these you are a Caregiver.

Provides a leadership program for Nova Scotia students who have demonstrated natural leadership qualities but whose life circumstances create barriers to achieving their full potential. The 3-year program is designed to inspire and empower students to become student leaders in high school.
