A free, confidential online cognitive behaviour therapy program tailored for paramedics, police, firefighters, correctional workers, search and rescue, 911 operators, border services officers and others in the public safety field.
Online modules address anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress. The program includes weekly therapy support and runs 8-16 weeks depending on need of the individual.

Mental Health Treatment
Provides public safety personnel with access to structured, online mental health supports to help develop skills and knowledge to manage mental health challenges connected to the profession. The courses combine online learning modules with weekly support from a therapist by secure email or telephone.
One of two courses will be offered, depending on level of need, following an online screening assessment and consultation with a PSPNET councillor:
PSP Wellbeing Course:
Education and guidance on techniques for various mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety and/or post-traumatic injuries
PSP PTSD Course:
focuses specifically on helping individuals who are primarily concerned with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder
Courses run for 8 weeks, but, can be extended to 16 weeks in some cases.

Mental Health Counselling
Offers treatment and support for children and support with serious disruptive behaviour problems, including conduct disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder, and their families. Treatment options may include: Individual and family psychiatric disorder counselling services, which may include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy or Problem Solving Skill Therapy; Crisis intervention; Parent education; Community development; Elder services; and outreach. This program is voluntary and culturally affirming. Offers extended care services to First Nations youth and young adults who are aging out of foster care.
