Youth Addictions

Provides counselling and therapy services to adolescents, adults and families.

Adult Addictions

Provides in-patient counselling and therapy for adults. Services include rehabilitation programs for addictions related to mental health.

Support Groups

A social/recreational program for survivors of acquired brain injury and stroke. Offer day programs for adult survivors of acquired brain injury and stroke, and for their families/caregivers. Also provide community integration for survivors and respite and support groups for caregivers and family members.Daily activities are available and include arts & crafts and group and individual exercise programs, along with leisure activities such as billiards, Nintendo Wii games, woodworking, a baking club, etc.

Addiction Treatment

The clinic provides addiction medicine services, primarily to assist patients with opioid dependence. The focus is on a goal of harm reduction. Patients are provided with a safe, non-judgmental medicinal approach to treatment.

In person crisis services

A mobile program for at-risk youth that demonstrate a variety of risk factors including those who are in conflict with the law and/or have been sentenced and at risk to reoffend and/or are at a higher risk of criminal/violent behaviour and poorer outcomes, reside in a high needs community, have multiple risk factors and challenges such as: substance abuse issues, mental health issues, familial issues, housing, unemployment, poverty, education etc. can include families and other services providers through a wraparound approach to service coordination staff will also assist youth in navigating systems to enhance opportunities to access services whether those are mental health and addictions, health services or financial support and housing staff will work beside youth to address the basic issues/needs that can present as barriers to participating and engaging in school/work/leisure, which ultimately promote a sense of inclusion, engagement and overall wellbeing

Community Mental Health Centers & Support Groups

Dedicated to the betterment of children, youth and families. Programs provide a learning environment that is safe and supportive of their needs within their own community. Learning Activity Programs for children and youth Therapeutic Learning Centre for children and youth with diagnosed conditions that inhibit learning in a traditional school setting parent support groups for ADHD/ADD, anxiety, FASD which result in learning difficulties and problematic behaviours individualized parent coaching to manage challenging behaviours within the home overnight respite accommodation for youth in crisis

Youth Addictions

New Heights Youth Centre Inc. is a group home for developmentally challenged, emotionally disturbed or behaviourally disordered youth.   Our group home services include diagnostic features, problematic behaviours and resources. Our group home accepts men only.
