Youth Addictions
Acute care, regional hospital located in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Peterborough is about 90 minutes drive north east of Toronto. Funded by the Province of Ontario through the Central East Local Health Integration Network, PRHC has a capacity of 494 beds, one of the busiest emergency departments in Ontario, and an extensive range of services.

In person crisis services
Designed to be flexible and responsive to the needs of youth in moments of crisis initial assessment appointment set up within 24-72 hours after referral is made meetings conducted both with client and their family when appropriate the needs of the young person is determine at the first meeting and a plan of action is developed to meet those needsCommunity Response Team Counsellor can meet up with youth in the community, at a school when possible or at our agency.The team works closely with the hospital, area schools and community organizations.

COVID-19 Response Due to COVID-19 and the size of the area covered, in-person meetings are suspended until further notice. Meetings will be held on Zoom for the foreseeable future.
