Serenity Renewal for Families provides hope and support in a safe environment through short-term counselling, educational workshops and programs for individuals and families affected directly or indirectly by addictions.   Assists individuals and families in their search for serenity through daily living of the twelve steps.   Helps improve the quality of life by providing a supportive environment for those choosing to accept the challenges related to the recovery process of chemical dependency or the addictive process.   Provides educational opportunities for the professional community to broaden their understanding of 1) chemical dependency as a disease; and 2) addictive process and its effects on family members and society.

Youth Addictions

Mental health and wellness. Learn about mental health and how to improve it to benefit you. Also get information on mental illness, its risk factors, symptoms, treatment and suicide prevention. A list of mental health helplines and resources available to all Canadians.

Community Mental Health Centers

Supportive housing and social recreational rehabilitation programs for up to 10 individuals with schizophrenia or other serious mental illness, including those with co-occurring addiction challenges case management and intensive life skills training to promote independent living recreational programming through Green Spaces Day Program nutritional education through Rosie"s Kitchen

Treatment Centre for alcohol and drug addiction. A long term three phase (orientation, intensive, relapse prevention,aftercare) treatment program geared to the individual.   Males; Must be drug/alcohol free for 72hr

Referrals to 12-step recovery meetings for people who have a desire to recover from sexually compulsive or addictive behavior * meeting formats include face-to-face, telephone, and web-based options * does not offer telephone counselling and is not a hotline

Sex Addicts Anonymous (SAA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so they may overcome their sexual addiction and help others recover from sexual addiction or dependency.

Support Groups

COVID-19: Meetings are being held online.A twelve step, twelve tradition oriented fellowship based on the model pioneered by Alcoholics Anonymous. Meetings are closed meetings restricted to sex and love addicts (or those who think they might be sex and love addicts). If the meeting is designated as an open meeting it can be attended by family members, friends or significant others of addicts at their invitation.

Sexaholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop lusting and become sexually sober. There are no dues or fees for SA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. SA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sexually sober and help others to achieve sexual sobriety.* Sexaholics Anonymous is a recovery program based on the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and received permission from AA to use its Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions in 1979.
