Services include: *Outpatient individual and group counselling * Four week residential women"s addiction treatment (drugs, alcohol, gambling) for adults 18+ * Four week residential men"s addiction treatment (drugs, alcohol, gambling) for adults 18+ * Five week residential program with 10 beds, serving youth 13-18 years old, with an average waitlist of 2-3 months.

Direct and indirect services for children and youth experiencing mental health and addiction related difficulties Children"s Mental Health workers provide: initial response to individuals and families in crisis immediate support, rapid stabilization and relief of symptoms to support early identification and intervention follow-up support development of safety and crisis plans assess need for emergency medical and psychiatric services assist in the development, delivery and evaluation of community information and support sessions and workshops

Indigenous Child Welfare Prevention program offering individual, couple, family and group counselling, as well as a variety of social, recreational and leisure programs and seasonal special events. I also wear a visor, no longer use a waiting room and limit greatly the amount of in person sessions offered. Also, the chairs are spaced meeting standards, sessions are spread apart and cleaned regularly.

Youth Addictions

At Skylark we offer free, individual and family counseling and support to children, youth and their families who live in Toronto. Our counseling services are tailored to the individual strengths and needs of each young person and/or their family. And our professional, qualified staff provides a range of relevant, evidence-based therapeutic approaches within a multi-disciplinary framework.

Crisis lines

Provides immediate, short term crisis intervention services to individuals affected by family violence, crime and tragedy Offers immediate on site or telephone assistance Dispatches call to police when deemed necessary Ensures victims receive support and assistance to secure their safety Provides information and referrals to appropriate resources and services Advocates on behalf of victimsSupport services can include but are not limited to: Debriefing and stabilization following crisis situation Advocacy on behalf of individuals and families dealing with various agencies Meal preparation, transportation, homemaking and other areas requiring support for families in crisis situations such as the suicide of a youth Information about/referrals to appropriate resources and services
