Community Mental Health Centers

Provides supports and services to enable survivors of mental health and addictions issues to integrate back into structured life and gainful employment Develops an individualized vocational treatment plan that connects the client to the clinical and community support required to meet his or her employment, productivity or educational goals Offers situational assessments and work placements in a supported work site Provides employment counseling, including ongoing job coaching and job maintenance Provides opportunities for membership/employment in the Team Werks Co-op Program Offers clients an opportunity to progress through a continuum of individualized services and supports

Support Groups

Offers a social and recreational day program for older adults who have Alzheimer"s disease or a related dementia Provides therapeutic activities which are designed to maintain an optimal level of independent functioning in the community as long as possible Provides respite service for caregiversProvides the following additional services to registered clients: Support and counseling Caregiver support meetings In-home assessments Equipment loan cupboard Assistance to access other support services Strategies for home management Minor health monitoring

Addiction Treatment

Provides a 22 bed, medically supported Withdrawal Management Program Provides a safe environment for individuals withdrawing from alcohol and/or drugs Assists clients with adjusting to a life without alcohol or other drugs Assists clients with making healthy decisions to change their lifestyles Helps clients to become aware of problems that result from using alcohol and other drugsBack to Basics Recovery GroupProvides: Life skills training Education and awareness Relapse prevention strategies Facilitates access to community resourcesEarly Recovery Group Provides support for those who are struggling with a decision about committing to substance abuse treatment Works to increase motivation to persist with treatment goals

Addiction Treatment

Provides a 12-bed withdrawal management (detoxification) program Offers non-medical crisis intervention, detoxification, and stabilization Screening for services is available 24 hurs per day, 365 days per yearTapering Program Provides limited tapering, available for opiate/opioids and limited Suboxone stabilization Administered and monitored through medical addiction specialist Booking clerk is only available for screening and intake on Thursdays

Addiction Treatment

Offers a three week residential abstinence based rehabilitation program Provides a multi-disciplinary approach including experiential, self-help and cognitive behavioral change therapy Offers group and individual counselling
