Centre for Innovation in Peer Support at Support House supports are offered in a virtual setting in direct response to physical distancing measures implemented to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The Centre’s virtual services and programs include: Online Peer-led Support Groups: Social Connections – no registration required, open to anyone 16+ in Ontario. These groups are offering opportunities to connect socially over a virtual platform. Topics include: Lit Grit, Creative Writing, The Sharing Circle and The Games Room. Self-Help Drop-In – require a brief pre-registration for participation, open to anyone 16+ in Ontario. Explore in a safe, judgement free environment and develop wellness tools. Support Groups

Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder (FASD) support for parents helping parents project * a phone support resource provided by Parent Mentors (parents and caregivers of children, youth and adults affected by FASD) prepared to listen to and support and share personal coping strategies with other parents and caregiver of individuals affected by FASD * as a peer mentoring resource it is not a crisis line and cannot offer therapeutic or clinical interventions * provide information where parents and caregivers might access those interventions as well as information about other community resources * callers can expect confidentiality except in situations where there is a risk of harm to oneself or to others
