Youth Addictions

The Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa serves youth aged 12 and older. We focus on youth with difficulties affecting their physical and/or emotional well-being and development. We support youth in making positive health and lifestyle decisions.Services include: * Mental Health Services * Community Services * Youth Engagement* *Youth Employment * Youth Justice Services Special Services During Pandemics (e.g. COVID/Corona), Disasters and Related Emergencies Our mental health counselors are doing youth and family sessions and the walk-in clinic sessions by phone and video. Call 613-562-3004 for more information. Residential services, such as our emergency shelters and Youth Justice programs, will remain open, with extra precautions in place.

In February 2017, the Ontario government announced funding for integrated service hubs across the province to fill gaps in the youth assistance service system. Ten crossroads are currently being set up for young people aged 12 to 25. They are one-stop shops for mental health and addiction treatment services, primary care, education, employment, training and housing assistance, and other social services. and support. There are many youth hubs in development across the province of Ontario, including Central Toronto, Chatham Kent, Eastern Champlain, Haliburton, Kenora, Malton, Niagara Region, North Simcoe, Scarborough, and Toronto East.

YOUTHLINK offers a unique set of services and programs for vulnerable youth between the ages of 12-24 and their families or caregivers. All of our services and programs are voluntary, confidential and free of charge. Our programs range from prevention and early intervention to clinical counseling, housing and treatment.
